Creating A New E-mail Account
Near the bottom of the screen, click on the “add users” button.
- In the first box in the column titled “user”, enter the name of the new account
.
- In the first box in the column titled “password”, enter the password for the

- Do not use the symbols ~ $ * ( ) or a “space”.
- The password has a maximum limit of 12 characters. The more characters you
use, the "stronger" will be your password. A password of less than 6 characters
is a bad idea.
- In the first box in the column titled “store mail?”...
- If checked, vDeck will store and accumulate your original received mail until you
delete it.
- If not checked, vDeck will immediately delete the original received mail.
- In the first box in the column titled “forward to”, enter the full E-mail address
to which you want vDeck to send a copy of all the mail that comes into this
new account.
WARNING!
If "store email?" is not checked, AND you have nothing entered in the "forward to"
box, then vDeck will instantly delete all incoming mail for that account as soon as it

To create additional E-mail accounts, repeat steps 1 - 4 in subsequent boxes for
each account.

Spam Filters
These particular spam filters are called “server-side” filters, because they are on the E-mail
server instead of on your computer.
Server-side spam filters are good in that they will delete the junk before you ever see it.
Server-side spam filters are bad in that sometimes they will delete a legitimate E-mail, if that
E-mail matches the filter’s specifications, and you will never know that the legitimate mail
has been deleted.

Deleting an Account
To
permanently
delete an E-mail account (and all/any E-mail that might be in the “IN”
box), find the account name that you want to delete, then look to the left of the account
name and click on the grey-colored square with the "X" in it.
WARNING!
Deleting an account cannot be undone.
If you did not intend to delete that account, all
you can do is create a new account with the same name. However, whatever E-mail that was in the “IN” box of that deleted account is gone forever, along with whatever server
-side spam filters you might have had for that account, all forwarding, etc.
