The Netscape Browser Support Page offers information and support for the Netscape web browser.
Since
its creation, Netscape has been released
in several versions and suites, some of
which did include the ability to send
and receive E-mail, and others did not.
The current Netscape 8 does not include E-mail capability.
If
you are using an older version of
Netscape that does include E-mail, the
Netscape web site does not appear to
have any information about configuring
or setting up the E-mail portion of
Netscape. Instead, the E-mail
configuration and setup seems to be
entirely contained in the Netscape Help
system. From a previous version of the
the Netscape Upgrade Guide...
“Address book information, mail, and mail setting are automatically migrated or copied from earlier Netscape versions. You can also import this data from Outlook Express, Outlook, and Eudora.
For full information, choose Help
and Support Center from the Help
menu in the Netscape browser. Select
“Using Netscape Mail” on
the Contents tab in the left-hand
navigation
and then click “Importing Mail From Other Programs.”
If
you use America Online (AOL) as your
Internet Service Provider (ISP), then be
sure to read this, too.
