Windows Mail is the
successor to Microsoft’s Outlook
Express, and ships with
Microsoft’s Windows Vista.
According
to Microsoft, unlike Outlook Express,
Windows Mail is not considered to be a
component of Internet Explorer. As such,
Windows Mail will not be made available
for earlier (pre-Vista) Windows
operating systems.
Sorry. I don’t have Windows Mail, so I can’t tell you how to set it up or use it.
I haven’t even seen Windows Mail, so I have no idea how similar it is (or isn’t) to
Outlook or Outlook Express.
Try following the steps on the Outlook Express page. If that doesn’t help, try the
Windows Mail Help. If that doesn’t help, try the Microsoft web site pages for
Windows Mail.
